Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at Funabashi Morita, Funabashi,  taking place on 28/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hitoshi Yamamoto (10(1) - 6(1) - 2) who hails from Kashiwa, Japan and Satoshi Tahara(6 - 2) from Funabashi, Japan.  Both Yamamoto and Tahara weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michi Sakamoto, and the three ringside judges are Taro Sugawara, Hisoka Nakamura and Jun Shiro.
