Kei Shirai vs Shin Shiroma

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Maishimo Arena, Osaka,  taking place on 03/10/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kei Shirai (9(3) - 0) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Shin Shiroma(9 - 9 - 5) from Himeji, Japan.  Shirai weighed in at 147 pounds, while Shiroma weighed in at 146 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Eiji Sakata, and the three ringside judges are Naoki Koyama, Takeshi Katayama and Hisao Sakai.

Shiroma manages to force Shirai onto the ropes.  Shirai lands a cross to his opponents body.

Shiroma is starting to lose his temper here.   He throws a low uppercut...that landed well below the belt! The ref halts the action and sends Shirai to the neutral corner.    He tells Shiroma to stop fouling or face a points deduction.

Shirai EXPLODES a MASSIVE cross into his opponents face.  SHIROMA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Shirai is looking to keep his distance.  Shirai thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Shiroma away.  Shirai lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS SHIROMA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Shiroma now seems to have got his legs back.  
Shirai lands a straight 1 - 2, DROPPING SHIROMA TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Shiroma is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Shirai!
