Isaac Kriel vs Tshepo Nyatama

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Soweto Hall, Soweto,  taking place on 01/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Isaac Kriel (11 - 4(1) - 5) who hails from Randburg, South Africa and Tshepo Nyatama(12 - 2 - 3) from iBhayi, South Africa.  Both Kriel and Nyatama weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vuyisile Sekola, and the three ringside judges are Kofi Kpesebaan, Ndumisa Ntuli and Peter Oosthuizen.
