Dewayne Sentamu vs Khalid Begum

Boxing Daily Report from the Manyama Promotions promoted show at Kampala Saah, Kampala,  taking place on 01/10/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dewayne Sentamu (10 - 2 - 2) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Khalid Begum(11 - 6 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Sentamu and Begum weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Mugo, and the three ringside judges are Paul Butime, Ian Koreta and Dale Kayonga.
