Duante Makwarimba vs Sam Mnkandla

Boxing Daily Report from the Harare Boxing Club promoted show at Harare Chiroto, Harare,  taking place on 03/09/2026:

Clearly Harare Boxing Club have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Duante Makwarimba (16(1) - 6(1)) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Sam Mnkandla(11 - 7(1) - 2) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Makwarimba and Mnkandla weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Ngoma, and the three ringside judges are Steven Joubert, Robert Hunzvi and Kwamin Mahachi.
