Nao Minamoto vs Mitsuru Kobayashi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Sapporo Imada, Sapporo,  taking place on 01/10/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Hokkaido have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nao Minamoto (4 - 9 - 4) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Mitsuru Kobayashi(4 - 7(1) - 4) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Minamoto and Kobayashi weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoru Yasui, and the three ringside judges are Eiji Aoki, Yasushi Uyeno and Kaede Takenaka.
