Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Little Flowers Arena, Kampala,  taking place on 01/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda-Kampala District Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Ruhumbika (14 - 6 - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Verlyn Udoma(11 - 3 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Ruhumbika and Udoma weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Onaedo Odur, and the three ringside judges are Neil Rugasira, Michael Takuba and Dave Ojara.
