Sajid Ismat vs Amjad Hassan

Boxing Daily Report from the Sembene Promotions promoted show at Asif Fawzi Gym, Sana'a,  taking place on 03/09/2026:

Clearly Sembene Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Yemen-Sana'a Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sajid Ismat (7 - 9 - 3) who hails from Sana'a, Yemen and Amjad Hassan(10 - 5 - 3) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Ismat weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces, while Hassan weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Abidi, and the three ringside judges are Sajid Naseer, Ibrahim Saffy and Haaris Sahadi.
