Elliot Okemo vs Davie Mwangombe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nakuru promoted show at Zach Masamba Gym, Naivasha,  taking place on 02/10/2026:

Clearly AI Kenya-Nakuru have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nakuru Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elliot Okemo (7 - 2 - 5) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and Davie Mwangombe(6 - 10 - 2) from Nakuru, Kenya.  Okemo weighed in at 200 pounds, while Mwangombe weighed in at 199 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Andy Uttien, and the three ringside judges are Sam Tanui, Ibrahim Halaby and Marques Muriuki.
