Boxing Daily Report from the AI Netherlands-Utrecht promoted show at Utrecht Taelboom, Utrecht,  taking place on 02/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Netherlands-Utrecht Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Klaas Melis (16 - 0 - 1) who hails from Utrecht, Netherlands and Wilequot Nagtegael(6 - 4 - 2) from Utrecht, Netherlands.  Melis weighed in at 147 pounds, while Nagtegael weighed in at 146 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Radboud Persins, and the three ringside judges are Ale Penyt, Mundus Van de Mandere and Christophe Weymaere.
