Danyaal Abad vs Azam Kouri

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Dubai promoted show at Dubai Saadeh, Dubai,  taking place on 02/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the UAE-Dubai Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danyaal Abad (10 - 2(1)) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Azam Kouri(6 - 7(1) - 1) from Dubai, UAE.  Abad weighed in at 154 pounds, while Kouri weighed in at 153 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kamran Basri, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Habkouk, Waleed Bacchus and Syed Aman.
