Owen Kasekende vs Farhan Kamel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Lira Ayoob, Lira,  taking place on 02/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Northern Region Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Kasekende (8 - 12(1) - 2) who hails from Lira, Uganda and Farhan Kamel(3 - 12 - 4) from Gulu, Uganda.  Both Kasekende and Kamel weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Felix Tumwesigye, and the three ringside judges are Ibeamaka Katumba, Chata Kabonero and Sam Nyanzi.
