Akira Matsumura vs Daiki Mayeda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hiroshima promoted show at Royal Hotel Hiroshima, Hiroshima,  taking place on 14/10/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Japan-Hiroshima Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Akira Matsumura (12 - 0 - 1) who hails from Hiroshima, Japan and Daiki Mayeda(6(2) - 2) from Hiroshima, Japan.  Both Matsumura and Mayeda weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kazuki Shimoda, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Miyamoto, Raiden Oshita and Fumio Morioka.
