Dave Conant vs David Stephens

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones Promotions promoted show at Fresno Jacome, Fresno,  taking place on 02/10/2026:

Clearly Bones Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Conant (11(1) - 0) who hails from Perth, Australia and David Stephens(3 - 2) from Nashville, USA.  Both Conant and Stephens weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Carrasco, and the three ringside judges are Cruz Arebalo, Bradley Eade and Daniel Weir.  

Round 1: 

Conant steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  Conant holds on to his opponent.  Conant pushes his forearm into Stephens's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Conant about fouling.  
Conant lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Stephens wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Conant dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Stephens steps away from his opponent.  Stephens sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Conant lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Conant is looking to close the distance.  Stephens pivots to the right of his opponent.  Stephens throws a right hook, but Conant clinches his opponent.  Conant throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Conant tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Stephens's kidney. 
Conant hits home with a left hook.  
Conant lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Conant holds on to his opponent.  Conant leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Conant manouvers Stephens into a corner.  Conant lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Stephens throws a left hook, but Conant clinches his opponent.  Stephens tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Conant behind the head. The referee warns Stephens and breaks the clinch.

Stephens steps away from his opponent.  Conant lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Conant is looking to close the distance and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Conant lands a firm right uppercut.  
Conant quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Conant digs in a solid right hook to Stephens's ribcage.  Conant holds on to his opponent.  Conant leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Conant's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
