Tobias Mbiuki vs Mike Tangus

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Ruiru Asinikal, Ruiru,  taking place on 01/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tobias Mbiuki (11 - 9 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Mike Tangus(11 - 6 - 1) from Ruiru, Kenya.  Both Mbiuki and Tangus weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Nanji, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Icharia, Jay Karanja and Mark Kamande.

Tangus lands a cross.
