Boxing Daily Report from the Quartey Promotions promoted show at St Marys Gym, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 03/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Mazivisa (9 - 2) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Ian Samkange(5 - 9 - 3) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Mazivisa and Samkange weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Mujokoro, and the three ringside judges are Sam Rodger, Sam Rodger and Paul Moyo.  

Round 1: 

Mazivisa gets on the inside and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.
