Wasyl Motyka vs Sergey Shostak

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ukraine-Zaporizhia Oblast promoted show at Zaporizhia Galinovskiy, Zaporizhia,  taking place on 02/10/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ukraine Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Wasyl Motyka (13 - 10(1) - 3) who hails from Kiev, Ukraine and Showstopper Sergey Shostak(17(6) - 3(3) - 1) from Zaporizhia, Ukraine.  Motyka weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces, while Shostak weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fedya Sigachev, and the three ringside judges are Viktor Shevchenko, Viktor Shevchenko and Vasili Markin.

Shostak is looking to force the stoppage!  Shostak digs in a potent right hook to his opponents body.  MOTYKA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Motyka now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
