Gervasio Chaparro vs Diego Minier

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Vicente Delgadillo Gym, Ciudad Victoria,  taking place on 04/10/2026:

Clearly AI Mexico-Tamaulipas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gervasio Chaparro (3 - 13 - 3) who hails from Matamoros, Mexico and Diego Minier(6 - 11(2) - 4) from Matamoros, Mexico.  Both Chaparro and Minier weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Francisco Rigor, and the three ringside judges are Angel Albo, Xeres Sevilla and Joaquin Senor.  

Round 1: 

Minier gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Chaparro drives a left uppercut into Minier's liver.
