Habil Djabiyev vs Karim Gaibov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Absheron promoted show at Muzaffar Allakhyarov Gym, Baku,  taking place on 05/10/2026:

Clearly AI Azerbaijan-Absheron have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Habil Djabiyev (4 - 9(1) - 1) who hails from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan and Karim Gaibov(5 - 5 - 1) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Djabiyev and Gaibov weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malik Shabazz, and the three ringside judges are Alekber Ameen, Waleed Khokhar and Khamis Gadjibabayev.
