Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Kisumu Kanda, Kisumu,  taking place on 05/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Kisumu Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vashon Chakava (8 - 0) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Jake Ojwang(9 - 6 - 3) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Chakava weighed in at 130 pounds, while Ojwang weighed in at 129 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Wacera, and the three ringside judges are Udenwa Lalang, Paul Babla and Kendis Rimbui.
