Joaquin Lizardo vs Alejandro Tobar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Comunidad Valenciana promoted show at Valencia Almas, Valencia,  taking place on 09/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Joaquin Lizardo (0 - 3 - 1) who hails from Murcia, Spain and Alejandro Tobar(13 - 2) from Barcelona, Spain.  Both Lizardo and Tobar weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Cura, and the three ringside judges are Montel Tercero, Dimos Montero and Senon Arcila.  

Round 1: 

Tobar gets on the inside.  Tobar pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tobar lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Lizardo switches the action to the outside.  Tobar connects with a cross.  
Tobar lands a left hook.  Tobar ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Tobar pushes his forearm into Lizardo's face.  The ref breaks Tobar's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Tobar lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Tobar throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tobar throws a right uppercut, but is not on target.  Tobar holds on to his opponent.  Tobar throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Tobar pushes his forearm into Lizardo's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Tobar to stop fouling.  
Tobar is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Lizardo gets on the inside.  Tobar lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tobar is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Tobar ties up his opponent.  Tobar is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Tobar is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Tobar attempts to land a jab, but Lizardo slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Lizardo hits home with a cross.  
Tobar digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tobar is on target with a left hook.  
Tobar drives a left hook into Lizardo's body.  
Tobar advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  Tobar ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Tobar attempts to land a left hook, but Lizardo parries the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribs.
