Brad Eidson vs Afon Abutalipov

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 31/10/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Asia-Oceania Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Brad Eidson (17(2) - 2) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Afon Abutalipov(15(2) - 6(5) - 2) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Both Eidson and Abutalipov weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Glynn Profit, and the three ringside judges are Barry Forbes, Richie Higgins and Francesco Ghiglia.
