David Young vs Leighton Atkins

Boxing Daily Report from the Cletus Van Damme promoted show at Memphis McColloch, Memphis,  taking place on 06/10/2026:

Clearly Cletus Van Damme have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Deep South Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Young (19 - 5 - 1) who hails from Knoxville, USA and Leighton Atkins(13 - 2(1)) from Memphis, USA.  Both Young and Atkins weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dan Stevenson, and the three ringside judges are Leighton Parry, Leighton Parry and Clint Blagg.
