Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 31/10/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Commonwealth Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Elderson Mbanefo (19(6) - 3) who hails from Buguma, Nigeria and Kashif Salloum(12 - 3) from Okpoko, Nigeria.  Both Mbanefo and Salloum weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Higgins, and the three ringside judges are Barry Forbes, Glynn Profit and Francesco Ghiglia.
