Xavion Ferro vs Montenegro Grano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Copperbelt promoted show at Kitwe Kola, Kitwe,  taking place on 14/10/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a tournament fight from Zambia-Copperbelt 2025 H2H.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xavion Ferro (18(4) - 1) who hails from Taguig, Philippines and Montenegro Grano(7 - 10(1) - 2) from Guatemala City, Guatemala.  Ferro weighed in at 107 pounds and 14 ounces, while Grano weighed in at 107 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ben Chiputa, and the three ringside judges are Rich Kabaghe, Kadeem Muleta and Nwa Hamabilo.

Ferro lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Ferro holds on to his opponent.  Ferro leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Ferro lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Grano recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ferro steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Ferro feints a cross, and then lands a sharp jab.

Grano sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Grano tries to land a cross, but Ferro sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Grano walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Ferro lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Ferro steps to the outside and is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Ferro closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Ferro is looking to force the stoppage!  Ferro lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.
