Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Walter Pyramid, Long Beach,  taking place on 28/10/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joey Saam (12(8) - 0) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Harry Helm(16(1) - 0) from Pittsburgh, USA.  Saam weighed in at 134 pounds And 15 ounces, while Helm weighed in at 134 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Gourley, and the three ringside judges are Mick Gwilym, Dillon Ireland and Ricky Valle.
