Franchot Galliard vs Valentin Nys

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Senegal-Dakar promoted show at Dakar Sand, Dakar,  taking place on 07/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Senegal Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Franchot Galliard (10 - 6 - 3) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Valentin Nys(12 - 2) from Dakar, Senegal.  Galliard weighed in at 160 pounds, while Nys weighed in at 159 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vernon Thiaw, and the three ringside judges are Vernon Thiaw, Laurent Courtellemont and Royal Ankah.
