Rio Loria vs Jerrold Velarde

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Comunidad de Madrid promoted show at Madrid Najar, Madrid,  taking place on 09/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad de Madrid Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rio Loria (10 - 9 - 5) who hails from Madrid, Spain and Jerrold Velarde(9 - 7 - 3) from Madrid, Spain.  Loria weighed in at 129 pounds and 7 ounces, while Velarde weighed in at 130 pounds.
