Ian Louw vs Tefu Zokwana

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Jackson Mkhize Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 09/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Louw (8 - 9 - 5) who hails from Germiston, South Africa and Tefu Zokwana(13 - 9 - 1) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Both Louw and Zokwana weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Khuzwayo, and the three ringside judges are David Pienaar, Here Van Heerden and Quaddus Rascalimu.  

Round 1:

Zokwana closes the distance and manages to force Louw into the corner.  Louw wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Zokwana dabs at his face checking for damage.
