Patrick McVicar vs Brandon Monaghan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Leinster promoted show at Dublin Collins, Dublin,  taking place on 15/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Celtic Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Patrick McVicar (6 - 16 - 4) who hails from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland and Brandon Monaghan(9 - 11 - 5) from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.  McVicar weighed in at 112 pounds, while Monaghan weighed in at 112 pounds And 14 ounces.    As Monaghan came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Rob Nesmith, and the three ringside judges are Rory Finnegan, Cillian Murphy and Ronan Murphy.
