Ramirez Baez vs Cuba Resto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at Neper Calvo Gym, San Jose,  taking place on 15/09/2026:

Clearly AI Costa Rica-San Jose have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Costa Rica-San Jose Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ramirez Baez (2 - 13 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Cuba Resto(12 - 2 - 1) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Both Baez and Resto weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Manuel Borromeo, and the three ringside judges are Cezar Gall, Sierra Abela and Agapetus Magdaleno.
