Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at University of the Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 03/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Robert Purdie (2 - 0) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Matthew Curtis(7 - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Purdie weighed in at 135 pounds, while Curtis weighed in at 134 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Wark, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Deasmhumhain, Francesco Ghiglia and Ian Norris.
