Davie Busto vs Gethin Gurin

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at University of the Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 03/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Davie Busto (6 - 0) who hails from Ontario, USA and Gethin Gurin(11 - 7 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Busto and Gurin weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Francesco Ghiglia, and the three ringside judges are John Wark, Johnny Deasmhumhain and Ian Norris.  

Round 1: 

Busto is on target with a jab.  
Busto strikes his opponents body with a cross.
