Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at University of the Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 03/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Connor Rice (4 - 2) who hails from Stockton, USA and Rex Wemyss(10(1) - 2) from Canberra, Australia.  Both Rice and Wemyss weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Wark, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Deasmhumhain, Francesco Ghiglia and Ian Norris.
