Marcel Jacob vs Geron Beau

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Marriott Port-au-Prince Hotel, Port-au-Prince,  taking place on 25/10/2026:

Clearly TFI have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Haiti Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Marcel Jacob (16(5) - 0) who hails from Carrefour, Haiti and Geron Beau(11 - 5 - 1) from Croix des Bouqets, Haiti.  Both Jacob and Beau weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chivalry Trzeguet, and the three ringside judges are Jacques de Laclos, Vivien Fouche and Olympe Lasalle.  

Round 1:

Jacob cuts off the ring, trapping Beau in a corner.  Jacob is on target with a forceful left hook to Beau's body.  BEAU WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Beau quickly recovers.

It looks like Beau has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Beau switches the action to the outside.  Jacob is on target with a cross.

Jacob closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Beau's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Beau's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Jacob walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Jacob digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Jacob lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Jacob ties up his opponent.  Jacob is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.
