Dave Jones vs Chris Montrose

Boxing Daily Report from the Hard hitting promotions promoted show at Nassau Law, Nassau,  taking place on 15/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bahamas-New Providence Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Jones (7 - 2 - 1) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Chris Montrose(2 - 10 - 1) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Jones weighed in at 122 pounds, while Montrose weighed in at 121 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is William Dee, and the three ringside judges are Peter Manatt, Matthew Greenshields and Rich Tod.  

Round 1: 

Jones hits home with a cross.  
Montrose throws a left uppercut, but Jones holds on to his opponent.  Jones pushes his forearm into Montrose's face.  The ref breaks Jones's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
