Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Vicente Delgadillo Gym, Ciudad Victoria,  taking place on 17/09/2026:

Clearly AI Mexico-Tamaulipas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Desiderio Lupercio (13 - 0) who hails from Matamoros, Mexico and Zelipe Alma(7 - 2 - 3) from Reynosa, Mexico.  Both Lupercio and Alma weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Senor, and the three ringside judges are Xeres Sevilla, Santiago Badia and Rodrigo Franco.
