Sancho Marrero vs Venacio Quijada

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Distrito Capital promoted show at Bogota Carrion, Bogota,  taking place on 17/10/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sancho Marrero (13(1) - 2) who hails from Cartagena, Colombia and Venacio Quijada(9 - 8 - 3) from Bogota, Colombia.  Marrero weighed in at 200 pounds, while Quijada weighed in at 199 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hilario Rebollar, and the three ringside judges are Rio Lopez, Beltran Marzo and Jesus Arabia.
