Cruz Tejeda vs Pancho Merin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI El Salvador-San Miguel promoted show at San Miguel Castilleja, San Miguel,  taking place on 18/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the El Salvador Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal 17, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cruz Tejeda (9 - 4 - 2) who hails from San Salvador, El Salvador and Pancho Merin(5 - 2 - 1) from San Miguel, El Salvador.  Both Tejeda and Merin weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Vina, and the three ringside judges are Ximen Betancur, Juan Vina and Fanuco Felipe.
