Mark Gilmer vs Mark Povey

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Kentucky promoted show at Michael Twaddell Gym, Lexington,  taking place on 16/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Gilmer (12 - 0) who hails from Lexington, USA and Mark Povey(8(3) - 0) from Louisville, USA.  Both Gilmer and Povey weighed in at 129 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Malis, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Hatt, Dave Southerland and Patrick Carnegie.
