Juan Portillo vs Lorenzo San Jose

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Azuay promoted show at Ecuador-Azuay Gym, Cuenco,  taking place on 19/10/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ecuador Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Portillo (15 - 7 - 4) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Lorenzo San Jose(14 - 3 - 1) from Cuenco, Ecuador.  Both Portillo and San Jose weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Guido Truxillo, and the three ringside judges are Dimos Siman, Dimos Siman and Sierra Lopez.
