Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Osun State promoted show at Ilesa Esin, Ilesa,  taking place on 19/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kashif Halim (19(2) - 5(4)) who hails from Ife, Nigeria and Jay-Jay Achalu(12(2) - 2 - 1) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Both Halim and Achalu weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Izunna Adamu, and the three ringside judges are Haider Zahra, Izunna Adamu and Rehman Laham.
