Eetu Pasanen vs Seppo Makela

Boxing Daily Report from the Acquaah Promotions promoted show at Espoo Ipatti, Espoo,  taking place on 19/10/2026:

Clearly Acquaah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Finland-Uusimaa Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eetu Pasanen (7 - 10 - 1) who hails from Vantaa, Finland and Seppo Makela(8 - 5 - 4) from Helsinki, Finland.  Both Pasanen and Makela weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kauko Lehtinen, and the three ringside judges are Arvi Vacca, Erkki Hattonen and Hannes Nieminen.  

Round 1: 

Makela steps inside and lands a right uppercut.  
Makela steps inside.  Pasanen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pasanen throws a left uppercut, but Makela holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Pasanen pushes his forearm into Makela's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
