Gianni Buffon vs Silvestro Losurdo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Campania promoted show at Naples Bonatti, Naples,  taking place on 21/09/2026:

Clearly AI Italy-Campania have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Campania Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianni Buffon (6 - 10 - 1) who hails from Naples, Italy and Silvestro Losurdo(2 - 5 - 2) from Naples, Italy.  Both Buffon and Losurdo weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bernardo Noce, and the three ringside judges are Enzo Gianquinto, Adolfo Facchetti and Sergio Maceratini.  

Round 1: 

Losurdo steps inside.  Buffon pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Losurdo attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Buffon to the neutral corner.  He tells Losurdo he will lose a point if he continues to foul.
