Tabansi Agbo vs John Acquah

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Asante, Kumasi,  taking place on 20/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tabansi Agbo (10 - 5 - 2) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and John Acquah(10 - 7(1) - 4) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Agbo weighed in at 219 pounds, while Acquah weighed in at 239 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Connor Salifu, and the three ringside judges are Connor Salifu, Scott Acquah and Bob Antwi.
