Francisco Serpe vs Gig Portela

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Parana promoted show at Rodrigo Evora Gym, Curitiba,  taking place on 18/10/2026:

Clearly AI Brazil-Parana have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Brazil-Parana Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Francisco Serpe (6 - 6 - 3) who hails from Curitiba, Brazil and Gig Portela(12 - 1) from Curitiba, Brazil.  Both Serpe and Portela weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montego Matos, and the three ringside judges are Ximen Chaparro, Joaquin Mendosa and Alejandro Mestre.
