Kyo Iwamoto vs Kyo Nishihara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at Kitakyushu Ide, Kitakyushu,  taking place on 22/09/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Fukuoka have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyo Iwamoto (4 - 13 - 2) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Kyo Nishihara(4 - 15 - 2) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Both Iwamoto and Nishihara weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Akira Nishimura, and the three ringside judges are Goro Koizumi, Kaede Kuba and Nao Kuse.

Nishihara advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.
