Aimon Ruiz vs Felippe Alcazar

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Teatro Caupolican, Santiago,  taking place on 07/11/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Chile, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aimon Ruiz (6(1) - 0) who hails from Viba del Mar, Chile and Felippe Alcazar(4 - 12(1)) from San Bernardo, Chile.  Both Ruiz and Alcazar weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ora Silvera, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Nunez, Fidel Otero and Rio Guerrero.  

Round 1: 

Ruiz is on target with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ruiz lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Ruiz clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ruiz closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ruiz lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Alcazar steps inside.  Ruiz lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ruiz connects with a firm right hook.  
Ruiz sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Alcazar throws a left hook, but Ruiz clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ruiz pushes his forearm into Alcazar's face.  The referee warns Ruiz and breaks the clinch.  
Ruiz closes the distance.  Ruiz pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ruiz lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Ruiz ties up his opponent.  Ruiz leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ruiz steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Ruiz drives a sharp right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Ruiz lands a left uppercut.  
Alcazar gets on the inside.  Ruiz lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Ruiz ties up his opponent.  Ruiz is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ruiz to stop fouling.

Ruiz steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Ruiz manouvers Alcazar into a corner.  Ruiz is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  As Alcazar tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ruiz dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ruiz.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Ruiz lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Ruiz ties up his opponent.  Alcazar pushes his forearm into Ruiz's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Alcazar.  
Ruiz is on target with a left uppercut to Alcazar's liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Alcazar's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Alcazar's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Alcazar's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Ruiz forces Alcazar to retreat into the corner.  Ruiz digs in a left hook to Alcazar's body.
