Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Victoria promoted show at Dom Kennedy Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 14/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ollie MacLellan (2 - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Bart Notman(1 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both MacLellan and Notman weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joey Mahtesyan, and the three ringside judges are Mark McBride, Kyle Hinshaw and Steven Malas.  

Round 1: 

MacLellan hits home with a left hook.

MacLellan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Notman sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
MacLellan advances into close range.  Notman tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
MacLellan lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

MacLellan stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Notman connects with a cross.  
MacLellan is on target with a right uppercut.  MacLellan clinches his opponent.  MacLellan uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Notman's kidney. MacLellan pushes his forearm into Notman's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns MacLellan to stop fouling.

MacLellan lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Notman's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Notman's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Notman's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
