Aidan McIver vs Matthew McGovern

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Leinster promoted show at Dundalk Moloney, Dundalk,  taking place on 20/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aidan McIver (11 - 5 - 4) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Matthew McGovern(8 - 6 - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  McIver weighed in at 135 pounds, while McGovern weighed in at 134 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Billy Ruane, and the three ringside judges are Paul MacKenna, Mike Green and Eoin McCadden.
